Reschedules (both by you and the student) are handled offline by you, based on your policy. It's important to communicate any changes to your students promptly and clearly.
- How are refunds handled?
Refunds are handled through Stripe or offline based on your policies. You can post specific refund policies for each course, which are displayed to students.
- How can I see who has registered for my courses?
You will receive an email notification for each student registration. Additionally, you can see student registrations in your Provider dashboard.
- How do I set the price for my courses?
You can charge any amount for your classes. Remember, all ticket-posted amounts are subject to our standard platform commission. Make sure your pricing reflects the value of your course while being competitive.
- Is there a limit to how many courses I can post?
No, you can post any number of courses. However, each class is reviewed and approved by our platform to ensure it meets our content policy and standards.
- Can I post courses in any category?
Yes, you can post courses in any one category such as Academic and Writing, Arts, Crafts and Design, Business, Computer, Tech and Digital, and many more. Choose the category that best fits your course content.
- What types of courses can I offer on CourseCow?
At CourseCow, we exclusively support in-person or live virtual courses across a wide range of subjects. Whether you’re teaching arts, technology, business skills, wellness, or any other field, you can offer your course as long as it’s conducted face-to-face.
- Is there a fee for listing my courses on CourseCow?
No, listing your courses on CourseCow is completely free. We do not charge providers for posting their courses on our platform.
- How are payments handled on CourseCow?
Students pay providers directly. As a provider, you’ll set up your payment processing through Stripe, allowing you to receive payments instantly into your account (minus the platform 30% commission) when a student enrolls in your course.
- Who is responsible for the course logistics, such as location and materials?
Providers are entirely responsible for all aspects of their course, including selecting the location, arranging materials, and any other logistical requirements.
Provider Course Content and Policies
- Can I offer courses with credentials or for specific skill levels?
Yes, you can indicate if your course has a credential for successful students or if it's tailored for beginners, intermediate, or advanced students. This helps students choose the right course for their skill level and goals.
- What happens if my course violates the content policy?
If your course is flagged for violating our content policy, your account will be suspended during an investigation. Violations may lead to permanent termination of your provider account at our discretion.
- What kind of courses are not allowed?
We do not tolerate courses that involve hate speech, harassment, unsafe or illegal activities, financial pyramid schemes, or infringement of intellectual property rights. Courses must offer genuine educational value and adhere to professionalism and decency.
- What responsibilities do I have regarding the course content?
Providers are responsible for their course title, length, description, and cost. It’s crucial to ensure your course descriptions are accurate and compelling to attract students.
- What if my course offers credentials upon completion?
Providers have the discretion to distribute credentials to individuals who have successfully completed their courses according to their preferred method. Providers exclusively hold the authority and responsibility for the administration of credential distribution.
- Who is responsible for the course logistics, such as location and materials?

- Does CourseCow offer discounts on course fees?
While we do not offer discounts at this time, we may introduce promotions in the future. When we do, discounts will apply to the gross course cost, but the commission rate will remain the same.
